Dad, Brithright, and BMI

Got a call from Mom-god. Dad's come down with a nasty cold so they canceled his operation on Wednesday. Feh. Understandable, but feh.

In the good news department, Radio Comix is finally posting Steve Gallacci's Birthright. If you haven't gotten a chance to read this classic sci-fi tale I highly recommended you book mark the story. Updates Tuesdays and Thursdays. http://www.radiocomix.com/birthright/

So - I've been thinking a lot on BMI vol.1. It's been out now for a few months, but there's been absolutely no buzz about it. Sad artist is sad. However there's something you all can do to help. If you've gotten a change to get a copy and read it, please review and rate it online. Good Reads, Amazon, ComiXology are great places to start. The hope is that the more people talk about it, the more new readers will want to give it a try.

Thanks all in advance. You guys are the best. *hugs*

And sadly the other comic I submitted to The Belfry has twice as many watchers as Birthright, it's about a bunch of collage girls who don't wear pants.

I suspect the lack of buzz about BMI is because the complete story has been out and readily available for many years, so anyone who is interested has it already.

Not sure about new readers, but for my own work, fans stay interested by fairly regular production of new stories, and frequent updates and previews on my FA account. No new material = loss of interest.

Oh, hi, just saw you at [livejournal.com profile] haikujaguar's, and, um... *fangirls at you incoherently for a few moments*

Thank you for reminding me that Radio Comix must have its own store. Ever since Diamond stopped carrying a lot of stuff in Previews (boo! hiss! dammit!), it's been hard to keep up with the offerings from there. Did get Mana Investigation 1, though! (Did Liberty from Hell ever get collected into a GN? Any plans to do so? Because I am sure I'm missing an issue and it's going to be heck to dig them up and find out which one.)

(I hope that your dad is doing well by now.)

No worries. ^.^

Yes, Radio has an online store - https://radiocomixstore.com/

Or, I might be able to dig around here for issues. Have boxes of them coming out my ears, but they are packed in very inconvenient places to get to.

No GN for Liberty as of yet. Elin's made noises, but we want to get a few other things out the the way first. Like Ebin & May vol.2 this year.

No word on my Dad yet. As far as I know the operation has yet to be rescheduled. Need to call my folks again and poke at Mom.

*beth makes bookmarks*

I need to go digging around and figure out which issues of LFH I'm missing. I'm sure I'm missing some, as I recall being terribly grouchy about that.

Oooo, Ebin&May 2! (Um, yes, I am fangirling. Sorry!)

Good luck to your dad!
