Starting with Season two is not a bad idea. The first 13 episodes are recaps, to get those not familiar with the original series up-to speed. But they handle them deftly and swiftly as it takes the first 2 1/2 seasons of the original and compacts them down to 1 season. If you're in question - you can always review the first 13 legally on Funimation's website. Do at least watch the first episode as it is completely new. Thou it drops you into amides res pretty hard.
