APE2015 Table Layout

Things have been hopping here as we prepare for the Alternative Press Expo 2015 next weekend. The new books, 'To Kill a Dragon', have arrived and in glorious color. We will also copies of 'The Keeper's Warrior', as well as complete runs of 'Bureau of Mana Investigation' and 'Liberty from Hell'.

While Baron busies himself with commissions, I’ve been working hard on getting the next issue of “To Kill a Dragon” ready for posting on Crunchyroll. I have all the pages colored, and lettered. Now it’s just proofing my lettering and get the cover/chapter illustration done. I really hope everyone’s been enjoying the series so far.

Doing a bit of scanning for my old story 'Liberty from Hell' for it's new digital release and I came across this page. I don't know why, but I have always been inordinately fond of this page, so I though I would share.

Hey all! Any of you have an eBook reader and want to give me a hand with something? It'll be a quick moment of your time is all.

Been trying to figure out the best image size/file size for putting together eBooks for comics. Best way to determine it once and for all, is to complie a couple of sizes, then have people who have eBook readers (like the Kindle or iPad or iPhone) to down load them and take a look with an eye towards file size vs. image quality and readability.

So if you have a reader (of any type short of a laptop) and wanna help out, drop me a line here!

So, if you all have been following my LJ for a bit you've noticed some rumblings of a super secret project I'm working on. Well, wonder no more - for it was officially announced today -

NEWS: Furrlough Color Special #1 coming May 2009!

That's right 8 whole pages in color in comic shops near you in May. Look for it.

(Yes, I'm still working on pages, and I'm working my little butt off as fast as I can. Color is very time consuming. @.@)

All the backups of Backbreaker have been completed. Once I hear back from our server's sys admin that his part is done, all of Backbreaker is being removed from the web, except for the online comics. The comics will remain up until 1 week after Bureau of Mana Investigation concludes. Then, that too, will be taken down.

What to do from here? I'll be redoing my personal site soon enough and Adventures of Blanc will continue there. BMI and Ebin and May do have a new home lined up (it was lined up as a mirror before we realized that we'd have to close BB)... it's just taking it's own sweet time getting up and going. Expect them to do a full restart in 3 to 4 months in their new homes.

As for personal prints, animation, and original art? That's going to be tougher. In my new legal non-business status, I am not allowed to sell anything. I can, however collect royalties/tips. So, until we know what the legalize of all said income is, I really can't say.

And thats all I can really say for now.

Oh, and a new Adventures of Blanc is up
