Adventures of Blanc – New Blanc today! Yeah!
In other ramblings...
Baron & I finally got Circie’s air-conditioning fixed. Really good news just before we have to drive her down the San Jaquine Valley to Comic-Con. Ever since we got the van, she’s had issues™ with the air-conditioning unit. It’s broken now three times and the repair shop really hates working on it since her engine area is so tightly packed they have to pull out the double-jointed midget to work on anything. So this time Brian (the head-mechanic) decided that they were going to “fix it for good”! Oh, boy, did they! She now has a unit from a commercial van installed and it is mighty! It’s a bit nosey, and sounds much like a turbine kicking in, but I don’t mind. On the lowest setting, James is complaining of freezing his legs off. It’s perfect! And if it lasts longer than 6 months I’ll be even more happy! /\_/\
However, no sooner did we drop the money for that than I had a filling fall out from my front tooth. =Grr!= Fixing the air-conditioning unit pretty well wiped us money wise so I had to call the parents and whimper up to Mom-god. It sucks having to call in a problem like this to the folks, but if I don’t get it taken care now, it’ll only get worse. After having three root canals, I know well were this leads. To my surprise, Mom was really chipper and didn’t bat an eye when I explained the situation. I drive up to Tuolumne tomorrow to see the family dentist. At least this happens before Comic-con and not at Comic-Con. I’m kind of through with medical emergencies at conventions. It sucks.
