Trudging along
Aug. 6th, 2005 10:36 amYeesh! I can't belive I forgot to post my updates yesterday. Busy, busy, busy!
Animation:
Stolen Child: finally got around to repainting the background of BG08. Yeah! That fixed the transition problem. All of BG07-BG08 are now fully rendered and dropped into the reel. Onto BG09!
Longing for Home: Still painting the observation room. Got the bench in now. Don't know if I'm truly happy with it, but it's far from suckfull. Also rendered the next shot in the "new" style and connected it with the first. Humm. Think I might need to darken the toon line just a smidge. I think it might be blending in with the model's base color too much.
Also, just the other day I burnd the current working versions of the films off onto DVD and took them over to
coppercheetah &
jareth_atian's
place to view them on their big widescreen tv to see if the images
hold. (Sometime's it's hard to tell when your working with little
postage stamp renders on a monitor.) The images did just find. The
sound however....
Oooggg! Premeire's doing something to the audio again! I think MP3's and the MPEG coverter aren't getting along. It's taking all the highs and spiking them. Painfully. Not Good. Very bad.
Well, I guess I know what I'm doing next week; tracking down the audio problem.
