smudgedragonGot the news yesterday that Cornelius Cole III, aka Corny, died on Monday.

I spent all night crying when I heard the news. He was my mentor at CalArts for all 4 years I was there, and he left an indelible mark on both me and my work. He will be missed.

Alas- my Google-fu has failed me as this is the best example of his work I could find that was "pure Corny". But this did get him an Emmy. And that's not shabby.
