smudgedragonOne of the things that's sucky about getting older in fandom is you can no longer get away cosplaying most characters. Let's be honest, I no longer have the body of an 18 year old, as if I ever did. I am, after all, well built Nordic stock and all the good and bad that comes with it.
But recently, while re-watching the anime 'Le Chevalier D'Eon' with friends it dawned on me one of the characters is someone I might just be able to pull off, Queen Marie Leszczynska.
While it's hard to find reference for her on the web (of the anime) - the series is widely available and easy to get on hand.
The big questions would be: Can I pull her off? OMG, can I actually sew that dress?! Would it be worth it, just to have something I might wear once or twice at a couple of cons?
