Took me long enough. lol! Just more proof that I need to get over this creative hump.
Still working on the "top secret" project. Everything fighting me with it. My current bump with it is kind of a stupid one in where the tape I need for the creative process is... on back order. Darn it! I might have to break down and cut it myself tonight, but cutting tape to precise width without loosing its tackiness is always fraught with danger. Argh! This WILL be done on time!
In other WoW news... Blanc finally hit 80! Yeah! That makes my second 80 (Kitzal being the first).
Kitzal, herself, is into Naxx with a raid team, thought that took a little bit of drama doing since the guild/raid team kept fracturing because some were ready to raid in a month of the release and were frustrated that others couldn't be ready as well (even thought the raid team *before* the release had agreed on a particular date after the holidays to start raiding). While it hurt to see good friends go especially over such weak reasons, I also had to keep reminding myself that this was a self correcting problem. All the people who were causing the drama and angst (as well as this feeling of having to "keep up with the Joneses") were the ones who left. And since the guild that Kitz' involved with is much larger that the raid team, we would not have to look far for new members. The people who left found a place quickly enough to satisfy their needs/wants and the original team moved on schedule to where we wanted to be.
As for Blanc and crew, folks are proceeding along and having a good time. We're strong enough in Membership now that once folks get though the all the reg dungeons we should be good for Naxx as well. I look forward to that. But we should get though all the reg dungeons first. For now, we have one week a night that is "Raid Night", mostly for old world raids and to help finish off quests in Kara for folks who have just one or two more things to do. Last week is was our first attempt at Blackwing Lair. We had the first boss down on the 2nd attempt (with an 8 man party). @nd boss stymied us. He's all about attrition and with 8 people we just didn't have the combined DPS+ people we could afford to loose to take him. Oh well - no BWL runs for us until we can at least double our DPS. So back to Kara and ZA we go. Maybe when we get more 80's we'll try a Gruul's or Magtheradon run.
Heading to Further Confusion next week. Yes, we have a table and will be selling the last of our stock from BackBreaker Days. No, we do not have panels in the art show. Yes, I'll be taking sketchbooks. For the most part, no, I will not be doing trades. Please come by the table and say hello to Baron and I. We'd love to see you. ^.^
