Getting close to releasing issue #3 of ‘To Kill a Dragon’. Here’s the cover image to prove it. ^.^

Sorry I’ve been so quite as of late. Usually when I drop off it’s because I’m either dealing with RL drama, or have my nose to the grindstone. This time, happily, it’s been the latter, not the former. Not only have I been working on getting ‘To Kill a Dragon’ out the door, but I’ve been doing a lot of work behind the scenes here setting up a new eStore and programing needed plugins.

The program work is nearly done. As soon as it is, I’ll be posting ‘To Kill a Dragon’ at SmudgeMarks & EngelWerks as well as a test of our new subscription model for comics, stories, and podcasts.

I’ve also been keeping busy domestic side as well. Been on a slow rampage of house cleaning/organization/getting-rid-of-crap since the emergence room visit a month ago. A lot of this is my vain attempt to get the house a little less allergen friendly. My long standing dream at this point is to get it in shape enough for Roombas to be able work. Yeah, probably never happening, but I can give it the collage “GO”.

Back to the grindstone for me – Issue three won’t letter itself.

After getting both issue 1 and issue 2 of 'To Kill a Dragon' done, I have absolutely no clue how good, bad or indifferent it's doing. I am pretty happy with how it's turning out. With only four issues (at 13 pages a pop) it's at least being very good for getting me comfortable with doing a full color title. Practice, after all does make prefect.

But this begs the question - Has anyone reading this actually read the book? If so, what do you think of it?

Liberty from Hell Digital Edition cover 1

The Demon Phalloide's back for a little more fun, now on your mobile devices. Completely rescanned and released in it's original sepia tone colors with a new cover, Christina "Smudge" Hanson's fan favorite tale of war and love in the dark ages is now available on the Comics Plus app.

After the fall of the Roman Empire, during the time of the Idle Kings, the vice demon Phalloide was unwittingly let loose onto the mortal world. He took to his liberty from Hell like a sailor on shore-leave- until he found out that he'd just been conscripted! Now, a soldier in Rook's Claw, a mercenary company, the world's first conscientious objector is finding things on the mortal plane are not entirely black and white. Things only get more complicated for poor Phalloide when the angel Azeal shows up to make him a most tempting offer- if he can keep his libido in check and pass a simple test! Witty and fun historical comedy with a magical twist.

$0.99 - 32 pages, color cover, sepia tone interior, mature readers.
